how to clean umbilical cord after it falls off?

if it has already fallen off you wont have to clean it anymore so you wont have to worry about it anymore. but if it is still attached to your baby clean it with rubbing alcohol

Just soak a cotton ball or tissue in alcohol or witch hazel and gently rub the belly button. Then make sure it dries thoroughly before dressing the baby or covering it up with a diaper.

rubbing alcohol..and here's a funny story my dad was watching me while my mom was at work when my umbilical cord fell off and he called my mom all in a panic like i broke her! lol i thought it was funny

I used a q-tip and alcohol and just swabbed around the area after I gave Noah his bath.

I used a q-tip and alcohol and it did the trick, make sure you do it often, I see babies with brown stained belly buttons because the parents never cleaned them properly.

Just use rubbing alcohol, it works just fine.
