No. Bush has enough problems. He doesn't need one more.

Larry Craig WAS convicted in June. That happens every time someone enters a GUILTY plea. The fine has been paid, the charge was not a felony. There is nothing to pardon.

Honestly, people who have read me in the past here know I am anything but a Republican, but in this case, I don't understand why he was charged with anything at all.
The man ruined his political career by being such a hypocrite about gay issues (admitting he did what he's accused of), but really, no children were involved, only consenting adults. I think the charge is ludicrous.
I for one don't think this is an issue that needs to be pushed.

Well, I would have said that would be political suicide, but since Dubbya isn't going to be running for office again, if it comes to a pardon, he might just do that on his way out. Presidents do seem to do that.... issue a few free pardons as they leave office.

Craig plead guilty, and is now serving his probationary sentence term.
The Republican Party has decided to distance itself from Senator Craig, as he is a pervert who likes bathroom sex with guys.
Further, he was part of Mitt Romney's campaign for the presidency. Mitt Romney could not cut him off fast enough.
The Cons eat their own...

Convicted of what? He already pled guilty; there won't be a trial, and he isn't serving a sentence, so there's no pardon necessary.

Considering who some of the past pardons in administrations before this one he would be the least of our 'criminals' pardoned. We had one sex offender in the last adm. who had 17 counts against him and managed to get a pardon!

No. All the other republicans will want to put as much distance between themselves and Craig as they can.
Remember Bush's buddy "Kennyboy" and the Enron scandal?

Bush can't pardon him, he's not going to trial (he already plead guilty). It's a state crime, not a federal crime, so Bush has no power to pardon him.
