i am ATTENDING the baptism.. NOT being baptized
- dark grey/blackish dress pants (tight fitted)
- open toe heels
- a plum colored top.. a shiny jersey fabric (tank top, empire waste, flows away from the body a bit)
- a greyish colored shrug on top?
.. and its in the fall... so what do you guys think?

Yes I would do it. A little more color (not something very bright though) might not hurt either. Or even a cute little dress with some open toe heels wont hurt... :)

It seems a little bit too much like an outfit you'd wear to a club. Think modest- that way the attention will be on the baptism and not on you!

White. maximum dept shops have a bab'y baptizimal outfit. i know JC Penny"s does, interior the little one/infant branch. All nevertheless I do accept as true with Jelly, yet i exchange into baptizerd on the age of six, Episcopalian, and Am now wiccan. so what does it harm?

The colors are great for fall. It's not too girly, but I don't know what your style is.

you can wear whatever you want to a baptism, but I would try to keep it more colorful/light - no black

Sounds pretty to me. As long as you don't go strapless, braless, or too short, it's good.

I think it's a little too dressy;-{ more like for a wedding.
