Hard to pick a favorite. I still have my 8 tax and I like them because it repeats and repeats. CD's have a good quality, but I still have my cassettes because I cant get some of the albums anymore and I refuse to throw away Mandy Patinkin. All of my LP's melted when a water heater burst and I will kind of never forgive the person who put them close to it. Oh well.

Oh hello, LPs. I have none. As I child I would listen to Dad's with him. Cat Stevens mostly. Beautiful music for children. I think CDs for price and practicality though. My friend is a DJ and lets me play his LPs when we hang out. I miss him. What are 8 what?

LP's are to old school...casette tapes always get eaten by the tape deck...I'd have to go with the CD. It's most likely a generation thing for me.

CDs are obviously the least obsolete, but I agree that mp3s are the wave of the future!
LPs are neat, but easy to scratch and too difficult to find nowadays!

Lp's sound the nicest, but the cracks and pops kill it for me,
CD's win by default.
Cassettes? 8 TRACK? Are you kidding?

CD
The sound quality is superior to other forms and they last virtually forever with a minimum of care and proper handling,
Tapes break and eventually erase themselves after repeated playing.
Vinyl was nice in its day but records get scratched, skip, break and are bulky espeically if you own a large collection.

I liked the sound of my old vinyl. I could count every pop and scratch on my brother's Pink Floyd - "The Wall" - double album set !!
