Cordon's is the best. For sauce you mix a little whipped cream with it, excellent with meats and on sandwiches.

Yes. Actually I have two...horseradish cocktail sauce and horseradish mayonnaise...love the stuff in small doses.

As a matter of fact, I even have horseradish that still grows in my garden that my Mom planted when she first moved into this house in 1955--I can remember being sent out to dig up some roots which would then be washed, peeled and grated fine before cooking lightly with spices for use at holiday dinners.

Yummm, Dottie, we love it. Great in cocktail sauce as mentioned above, but our favorite way to use it is on a sandwich called beef on 'wick. 'Wick is short for Kimmelwick, a kind of roll that has bits of salt and rye seeds on top. Fill it with lots of thinly sliced roast beef, and then spread the horseradish sauce on the meat. It's a Buffalo thing, very popular up there. And if you can find a jar of just horseradish, then it's even better when you make your own sauce. (Guess the Yankee part of me is showing here..lol!)

I love these searching, mystical, deeply felt questions about the true nature of Man's relationship with God...

I don't have horseradish in the refrig but I do have a refrig in the horseradish...

Very Zen...

No I don't and hadn't ever tasted it until a few years ago. I think it would have to be an acquired taste for me.
