yes. any hcg levels (if you've never been preg) is a sign. Anything over 10 is considered pos.

If your levels are lower than what it should be for how far along you might be can be a bad sign though.

the dr. can do a blood hcg to be exact.

Yes it is.

It is also possible to have a "false pregnancy". This has a medical term but I don't recall it offhand. Basically it occurs when you want to be pregnant so bad that your body starts showing several symptoms, including cessation of menses..or stopping of the period.

I have had 3 children and had nausea and one food craving with only one pregnancy. I have not had the others. My husband's sister has 4 kids and never had one symptom. And the "mask of pregnancy" is caused by hormonal fluctuations which can also indicate an imbalance...not pregnancy. Women going through menopause can get this mask.

This doesn't mean, however, that you are NOT pregnant. One of my girlfriends had neg pg tests for two months and was pg the whole time!

If I were you, I'd go have a doctor's test done and also ask for an ultrasound. With my friend, it was the ultrasound and not the pg test that proved she was pregnant.

Gosh, I never heard of the mask of pregnancy. Gotta look that up!

It is possible, but unlikely that you could have levels of hcg so low that you still would not be testing positive on a pregnancy test. However, you are 33 years old and many women in their 30s experience interruption of cycles for no apparent reasons. SInce you have other signs, I would suggest getting a blood test at your doctor's office. There are some women who never produce hcg, although uncommon.

I don't know if this helps but with my first pregnancy I had low hcg levels. I kept taking tests on top of tests and finally one day the line appeared but very very light. I went to the doctor and it took another month for my hcg levels to be where they should be. My son turned out fine but I woud go see a doctor if I were you.

The only way to find out is to take a blood hcg test at the OB/GYN.

Sorry I couldn't be much help.
