Now it depends on what you are blasting it with;
dynamite?
shotgun?
high intensity beam particle laser?
The thunder from the thunderstorm may cover up the noise as you blast away and maybe your neighbors won't object.
But why do you want to blast your radio?

Yes because if you play the right music. It scares the thunderstorm away.
The real answer is no. The radio might get wet, then short circuits it, possibly causing a fire or electrocuting you if you are real unlucky. A lightning bolt may hit nearby and fry the radio. Wind knocks the radio off the ledge and breaks it.
There are other similar reasons for you not to do it.

Not recommended, especially near a window, lightning has a tendancy to be attracted to a blasting radio. If the lightning hits any electrical lines outside your house, goodbye radio.

no, because if lighting hits a power line. it will going through the line and up into your line and it will fry your radio. You need to get a surge protector. it will prevent lighting frying your radio. once you get it, you are OK to play your radio during a lighting storm
