Could it be possible that Iran and China/Russia have a treaty going that if any of them gets a first strike?

Anything is possible however, I doubt that either China or Russia would allow themselves to make any type of commitment with the current regime in Iran that would draw them into a military conflict. Russia's military has a long way to go to become an effective fighting force and while China has the numbers as far as troops go, they lag behind us in equipment and experience.

While neither China nor Russia have much love for the United States we offer them so much more in the way of trade then Iran ever could. At the end of the day it always comes down to money and no one has more of it than us.

Well, Iran has a lot of oil, which China and Russia both need. China has the economy, which Iran needs, while Russia has the firepower that Iran also needs. They are all tied to one another, so it would be stupid not to form some kind of "agreement."

"Teaming up" is the wrong word. They are all for themselves, and if one gets blown off the map, the rest will feast upon the dead carcass like greedy fish.

Yes, I'd say they have some kind of "mutual" treaty going. Usually if the treaty isn't signed with something promising, then it is of no consequence.

You really think either Russia or China would go to war over Iran ?

Iran is not a historical ally of either.

No vital national interest of either Russia or China would be effected by an attack on Iran.

So i'd say, its aboyt 149.7% agaist either doing anything at all.

Then you also have the question, just what could they do?

The only weapons either Russia or China have that could reach the US, are their ICBM's.

Neither have long range bombers that could reach.

Neither have a blue water navy.

Neither have the ability to foward deploy soldiers outside their country.

So yoiu really think Russia or China would go for a nuclear war for Iran ???

Who knows? Russia would probably side with Iran anyhow.
Russia and China have been on the brink of war with each other, probably for at least 175 years.
Maybe we have treaties with China and/or Russia, in case we get bombed.
But would you really trust a treaty with Russia or China?
Anything could happen.
