I have a hunch that there will be a big was in asia involving china in the near future.

I hope they collapse. I dont' trust those commies. They have more ground troops than anyone in the world. The people are breeding like rabits and there's not enough resources to go around. They might invade somebody soon for resources. It'll probably Taiwan first.

If the PRC were to collapse, it probably would not be the result of any political schism or movement. Rather, China's potential downfall would likely be the result of an aging population and lack of a younger workforce to carry on with economic advancment due to its stringent "one child" policy, not to mention its growing gender imbalance amongst its youth. In fact, some estimates are stating that China's population would start declining within 30 years, even after factoring in immigration.

China’s political and economic system is unsustainable in a modern world. China was built an abnormal society and then isolated it from all others. As the country becomes more integrated with other nations, the same forces that apply around the globe political, economic, and social also affect China. Soon, the Chinese government will not be able to meet the challenges posed by an open and dynamic society.
Some estimated that China will collapse within this decade as soon as 2011. We obviously do not know what will be the precise nature of events that lead to the fall of the Communist Party. After the collapse there will be a new form of government and the Communist Party will no longer be in power. There will, of course, always be a China but not one that is communist.

No. China will always fly the communist flag. They have allowed segments of western culture to creep into their society, which have magnified the enormous gap between the working class and the upper class. But China has put those who are loyal to the party in place, and with the import/export capacity, not to mention the amount of money the USA an other countries owe on the notes China holds, it would be hard to throw them off their game.

China is a capitalist society, that makes their poor live a communist lifestyle, and keeps them there by making education pretty much unobtainable for the average Joe.
Collapse?
They'll never collapse as long as We keep supporting their ruthless treatment of dissidents by buying their products.

China will not collapse. Since Republicans (Nixon and George H. Bush) sold out our friends and allies Taiwan to recognize Red China and give them most favoured nation status, they have plenty of money to build their army, their nuclear bombs, and run their slave labour camps to flood our country with cheap, crappy goods to destroy our Federal budget through a 17 trillion dollar national debt!

When the ordinary person's standard of living increases because of capitalism they will drop Communisim like a hot potato. That doesn't mean they will favor democracy. Most Chinese have no idea what democracy is all about and would be lost.
