My daughter is 8 weeks old and started smiling at about 7 weeks. She doesnt smile very often every once in a while. Will she start smiling more and more every day or is this one of the things that a baby will do then stop for a while the start doing it again?

Baby's smile more frequently when they are smiled at often. All my kids are big smilers and have been since early on because I was constantly smiling at them. :)

Once a baby starts smiling, she will start smiling more and more often. Just wait, in a month she will be grinning ear to ear all the time- especially when she hears your voice.

My little one smiled when we did the 3D ultrasound! She's been smiling ever since! She literally giggles now, she's going to be 4 months on Monday! It's the greatest thing they start doing it and just do it more and more each day! Good luck!

The first smile is the greatest thing ever isn't it? She is just learning now and she is learning from you. Just talk to her and smile a lot and she will do it more often as she learns what it's all about. Just wait till she laughs for the first time!
