For example, the kid who acts out in class gets all the teachers' attention. However, the one who always turns in his homework on time and behaves himself is practically ignored.

Because those how act badly have a negative effect on others. I hate it because I spend my time having to keep an eye on those who misbehave to where I don't have much time to let those who do good and behave know that they are doing a great job.

Those reactions come from a long time of conditioning, brought on by our teachers. The same applies here, more attention is given to the bad ones than all the nice folks on here.

The one that acts out, NEEDS more attention....in my opinion. The ones that are being good, need attention, but not as much.*

I'm the second person, I'm sometimes I'm raising my hand for like 20 mins and the teacher dosne't ntoice me! Once I screamed
"Attack of the invisible people!" and got sent to the principal's ofice!
