I would like to know the chemicals in it and if there are any safety issues for my family.

I got it done at a Mazda dealership. They looked up the MSDS and gave me a copy but it was for the wrong product. I asked them for the information prior to them putting into my air system and they didn't give it to me. I have called and emailed today asking them for the proper one. Do you know how long they have to respond?
Has anyone out there worked with this coating? It is supposed to disenfect and seal in mold/mildew smells in the cars a/c

The evaporator core can get mold growing in it.

Whoever put that in your car should have the MSDS. If they don't they are in a bit of trouble. And they have to give you a copy if you request it.

What mold, mildew smells ? I have never heard of such a thing. The a/c system is sealed and has no affect on the air except to cool it. Someone is playing games. If an odor exists in your a/c system you could have a plugged condensation drain hose that comes from the bottom of the heater a/c enclosure and drains to the ground. Without a name for the coating in question it will be difficult to find the msds.
