Hello there. I have recently found out that I am pregnant. On 11 days past my IUI, my beta was 28. I know that this is early, but I wanted to know if anyone else has been this low, and carried to term. Let me know. Also, I am feeling terrible, tired, headache, nauseated ect.

I think you're fine-you are only 11 DPO. I'm sure you'll be tested again next week or shortly afterwards. The fact that you're having symptoms is encouraging. Good luck and CONGRATS!

The lowest beta hCG that I saw carry to term was 3 IU/L. What's the most important is what the repeat value is when taken 48 hours later. If it doubles that's great. Hopefully it will at least rise by 60%. Another thing that can be helpful is the progesterone value on the day of that 3. If it is below 5, then a bad outcome is most likely. I hope not! Good luck!

All the nausea and HA mean nothing because so many women have felt terrible and still carried to term. Many women have felt terrible and lost the pregnancy. Many women have felt nothing and carried to term. Still, many women have felt nothing and lost the pregnancy. So it's not the most helpful information in the world.

The hCG is your best bet. Good luck on your repeat!

Well I know that some women don't even have 25 at 10 dpo, so I definitely wouldn't worry about 28 at 11 dpo. What is more important is that it rises. Heck, some gals don't even test positive until 6 weeks! My friend Micki didn't get a positive pregnancy test until she was 29 dpo. Congratulations! I hope you have a healthy pregnancy!

Who is taking this reading and for what purpose? Depending on when it is taken, a low reading can indicate pending pregnancy termination, Down's Syndrome, twins...or nothing.
That's why "how far along you are" is critical information.

Feeling tired, headache, nausea is all part of pregnancy for some of us, depending on the pregnancy itself. I had no symptoms with two and every symptom known to man with one in between. It doesn't mean something is wrong with you.

Ask your Dr. what the low numbers mean or google low beta HcG and see what you come up with. But again, you won't know for sure unless the values are compared with the stage of pregnancy you are at.

That's normal for 11 dpo. 48 hours later is will be double that.
