Can CS3 be installed on a powerbook Pro with NO INTEL Chip?
version 10.4.5.. IS there a patch or update for non intel mac's?

It is, When i tryed to install it i got an error saying im not up to date.. and i need version 10.4.8 of os x and the auto updater didnt fined it. I tryed to fined it on apples site and its only for Intel.. So...?
Im on version 10.4.5 os X now.

You need to get a free upgrade to 10.4.10 (the current)

under the blue apple , select "Software Update"... do all the updates!

then install CS3.

there should be an update til 10.4.10. My sister's ibook is upto 10.4.10. you should get the patch from apple.com. If you can't find it, email and spam apple. They MUST help you; we are all mac users. CS3 will work on any mac with 10.4.8 and above. If you get the patch, it should run perfectly.

here is the 10.4.10 Update for powerpc macs

http://www.apple.com/support/downloads/macosx10410comboupdateppc.html

that will get your mac up to date and then you can install photoshop CS3
