Christian based, as 2 or more wives would lead to my early death.

Hate to bust your bubble, but the Jews got there first with monogamy, and secularism holds no belief in polygamy, or polyandry for that matter.
And no Muslim must have four wives, hes allowed four wives if he can afford them and they approve. In a society where there is much work for women their outlook for such a thing might be a little different than it is here.

I'll take C, the right to choose what I feel is best for me. Your organized religion theories don't even apply to your question. Where did Adam & Eve get grandkids? How many were actually in Noah's Ark? 2 of everything my eye!!!!!

Based on the New Testament in the Bible.Christian of course.
Christians do not despise anything. if one has told you that that person is not really a Christian.

Hmmmm.....I'd rather have no religion whatsoever butting into my life and telling me who I can and can't marry.

Governments should of course rule by law in a democracy, not by religion.

But...for the sake of argument.....If you meant some horrible theocracy that I had to suffer under, I don't thing one wife or ten would make life worth living under such a regime.
