Its def. college football. High School is very fun; but outside of Texas and Oklahoma it is rarely followed very heavily by outsiders (by that I mean people who no longer have an true affiliation with the school). I can tell you are in High School; because when I was in high school I was the same way. I would follow all of the good teams; know about all of their good players; who were the best players in the state. Who were the best 6A, 5A, 4A teams; but trust me once you are away from it; it will lose some of its appeal.
I still love High School football; because I coach high school football; but college football has more allure. Every single game counts. The fans are as loyal as any fan in the business; you can go to a game and every single person will be in the school colors; will know the school fight song; and the chants. The only games louder than college football games are European soccer games where fans will cause riots in the stands and throw malitov cocktails on the field.
In high school you are lucky if you can get the students to come out to the games and most of the times its just so they can find out where the party is later that night. I love high school football; but it is college all the way!

Both are great. High school football has to be experienced in Texas, Ohio, Florida, or California to truly be experienced though. College football is great, especially in states where football is kind like the ones just mentioned. I personally wish High School Football was more covered nationally, like the big schools in the nation (Independence, De la Salle, Long Beach Poly, Glenville, etc.). But there really is nothing like sitting in a 100,000 seat stadium on a fall Saturday afternoon.

College Football
I wonder if there is a National Championship consisting of a top high school football team from every 50 states and would compete tournament style.

i like both for diffrent reasons. college football is cool cuz it's on another level. obviously the play is more intense, the players are more well known, and the coaches are more experienced. i also like the BCS and all the bowl games. however high school football is cool, cuz u can actually play it. i also like how the state championship brackets break down. plus you generrally know all the players on a high school roster where as in college you don't. either way, both football, both fun to watch.
