They are probably just trying to get a rise out of you or make you jealous. Try not to let it show that you're offended and find some friends that will ACTUALLY invite you to hang out. It's no fun being a 3rd wheel. But then again, some friends don't even notice that they're doing that. If so, then invite yourself into the event, politely.

yes, it is very rude, and I think they deliberately are trying to let you know that you're not good enough to be included. Instead of being hurt, be glad that they have let their masks slip-you now know what kind of mean, nasty, snobby people they are. They're the kind of people who smile at your face, but when you leave the room, they talk about and make fun of you. You're really not missing much with people like these. There are other people being treated like you are-if you know who they are, how about asking them to hang out a little bit and get to know them? they might turn out to be just the kind of friend you like.

It's beyond rude. You're justified in feeling bad, no doubt about it. I mean no disrespect here, really I don't-- but maybe you should get some new friends. These ones don't sound like they deserve you.

Yes, it's rude. What kind of friends do you have? I would be checking into finding some new ones.

Yeah, it's rude. It makes me feel really uncomfortable "Mom can Kristen sleep over tonight?" HELLO, am I not sitting right here?

Sometimes, but half of the time I don't really care, I'm usually busy or staying at someone else's house.

Uh...yeah that's pretty rude, I don't think anyone's ever done that to me...not real friends anyway. And if they had, I would've been downright pissed off.
