Since computers can't think they can't lie. They can obviously give the wrong answer since the procedure to arrive at an answer is written by a human.

A computer processor can only execute a provided set of instructions, one instruction at a time. This is a program.

The person who designed the program can lie. The computer can't, because it can't think.

Computers can lie ... but they do not know that they are lying. that's why you have to double check everything.

For exsample, when you do a spell check and it says there are no mis-spelled words, then you find a word misspelled. The computer LIED! ;)

If you tell the computer correctly what to do, then it will do it correctly for you. Computers don't lie, it just depends on the person using it.

A computer only does what it is programmed to do. You can program a computer to "lie" but they don't do it automatically lol.

Perhaps a better question is: if you read something on the Internet, can you trust it to be true? Not always. Not even if you read it is 4 or more places.

Yes. Of course they do lie.
If you don't believe me, ask your computer if he can talk or not. If he says no, he's lying.
