Continuity problem in Casablanca? What did I miss?

When Reneault's men go to arrest Ugarte he runs out the door, shoots a guy and then bolts the door shut from the outside. (commercial break) Coming back from the commercials an unarmed Ugarte seems to be back inside Rick's place begging Rick for help before Renault's men grab him. Am i missing something?

It's all right: Ugarte was in the "casino" part of "Rick's". He runs, shoots the guy and tries to close the door. He is now in the "bar" side of "Rick's" and still has a gun while beggin Rick's help.
