More recently, viruses have been created to steal personal data such as passwords or to create relay stations for making junk e-mail more difficult to trace.

Suddenly, though, viruses weren't spreading as quickly. Virus writers now motivated by profit rather than notoriety are trying to stay low-key, lest their creations get detected and removed, along with their mechanism for income.

Many of the recent malicious programs technically aren't even viruses, because they don't self-replicate, but users can easily get infected by visiting a rogue Web site that takes advantage of any number of security vulnerabilities in computer software.

Do you have sex with multiple partners and not use protection? This is the same thing. If you do, you are opening yourself up to unkown viruses and this can lead to a fatal error!!! Be careful and make sure you know who you are letting in to your computer.

see there are many malicious sites crawling the web these days thes will tell u that you have won a lottery prize worth millions as ur email was randomly selected but think for a while that did u buy any ticket ever they forge the names of very specific people and will expect u to give them ur id proof, photo, pan no., credit card no. so make it a point that never give ur personal details to these fake sites..the heading will be like WON A LOTTERY or something like that....
hope this might help u in future.

I don't see what your message is asking for or what it has to do with the question of your topic...

I forward all spam to the authorities ...

I trace it.. if it tracks to a valid domain, I report it to the abuse@ listed address as well as to spam@uce.gov
I look for additional IPs in the header and if they track to other ISPs I report to them as well. Then I mark it as spam and block them.

Spam doesn't always come from people you do not know, nor does it always come from people selling viagra.
I receive tons of spam now from technical recruiters who abuse the job boards...
Instead of performing their jobs with an ounce of due diligence, they use keyword searches and send out mass emails without reading the resume to ensure it is a proper match. I find this behavior to not only be unprofessional and disgusting... but it also spam and an abuse of the job boards as well as abuse of my personal information.
They attempt to get away with this by saying "you posted your resume on a public board" this is not a valid excuse. Do not let them get away with it.
