Everyone is different. It can also depend upon if you are nursing or not. With my first it was within 2 months. My second 4 months and my third 3 months. I have heard of women starting the first month and not until 6 months. It varies.
However, make no mistake about it...you CAN get pregnant in the first month after having a baby. And don't let any idiot tell you that if you are nursing you can't get pregnant. That is an old wive's tale. Your dr can put you on a birth control pill that won't put anything harmful into the baby's milk but WILL prevent you from getting pg a second time, too soon.
Even if you don't have your period yet, you can get pg after giving birth because ovulation can start a week after having a baby.
I have two friends with children less than a year apart because they fell for the old, "You can't get pg if you are nursing and/or don't have your period yet" baloney.

Hi
Everybody is different.
I bled for about 4 weeks after giving birth and then had a 2 day break and then got my period.
For my second i bled for about 5 1/2 wks and then my period came 3 days later on my 6 week check.
Everyone is different if you are regular you could get it your normal cycle afterwards or a little delayed.

For a few humans it may take a few years for the hormones to relax. A buddy of mine lately conceived after medication for extraordinarily prime prolactin phases. Her youngster is solely over 2 years historic and her intervals had back whilst her son used to be four months historic however have been very mild. Apparently, for factors unknown, her frame nonetheless concept it used to be breastfeeding/pregnant and so hadn't began ovulating. She took a natural rememdy prescribed by way of a naturopath and inside a month she used to be pregnant. If the scientific career has run out of solutions and you're completely happy that each one avenues of research were exhausted possibly you must recollect a complementary medication. Naturopathy, kinesiology, acupuncture and conventional chinese language or ayurvedic remedy are a couple of you might take a look at. Good success!

Depends on if your breastfeeding or not. If your breastfeeding usually it's not until you stop breastfeeding. I'm not sure about not breastfeeding.
