A friend of mine told me that his friend is going to put money in my account so I can withdraw it and send it to his daughter and I did but this friend did a second transfer which I have no knowledge about until the bank informed me that it was stolen from another bank account...what's going to happen to me?

Unless you can prove they stole your account numbers and you knew nothing you are in trouble. Sounds like you knew something was fishy from the beginning.I suggest you spill your guts to the bank, FBI and police about all you know unless you have a bad past i thing they will let you off fairly easy.

Check with the bank and see all the names on your daughter's account. Then ask the bank to tell you who withdrew the money. If you can get a copy of this do so. Then contact the police and file a theft report. Let them do the rest or take grandma to small claims court. Meanwhile open another account and put any money into an account grandma doesn't have access to.

Never get in the middle of any transaction like this - let people get their own bank accounts or send it to their daughters directly. If they can't just send a check like a normal person, something must be off.

Cooperate with the bank and police. Better yet, contact both of them now before they track you down.

Lastly, notify the friend he is now your ex-friend.

As long as you did not steal from the other bank and you did not connive with the other person, you should be safe. any one can transfer money into your account if they know the number. Cooperate with the bank and the police in their investigations.

First of all, this person is not your "friend" if they are laundering stolen money through you.

I'd recommend you calling the cops and telling them that your ex-friend did this transfer without your knowledge and you want no part of it.
