When i say classic rock, i don't mean 90's rock or EMO. I mean anywhere from sabbath to metallica, or from zeppelin to judas priest. if its 60's to 80's, it classifies.

sorry, should have originally added my own opinion. I have more than one favorite song, actually. Wish You Were Here and anything off of Floyd's The Wall album are amazing.

lol just kidding... ummmm that is really too hard, because I like different Zep songs for different reasons. The same with Sabbath, or old Metallica etc....
It is hard enough to zero in on one particular favorite band, nevermind a favorite song.
Each song hold different special memories with it.
When I think about my first acid trip, I think of "crystal ship" by the doors... etc...

great question! I like everything from Zeppelin, the doors, steve miller ,the eagles, pink floyd, the beatles, janis joplin, the who, the stones, etc. but my favorite classic rock song ever is Riders on the storm by the doors

Well for overall impact I still think songs like Queen's "We will rock you" or "We are the Champions" will always be current classics.
Lots of great tunes from the old days to pick just one.
For me personally, I dig "Paradise by the Dashboard Light" no reason other than I loved to BELT that one out!!!!

I'm gonna say..."Sweet Home Alabama" (I'm a Bama native.) or "Born to Be Wild"...I'm a child of the '80's, so I have a hard time thinking of that as "classic rock", but my favorite '80's rock song would be..."Cry Hard" by Poison or "Living on a Prayer" by Bon Jovi
