Sure. Lots of places will open checking accounts with little or no money.

Your best bet for cheap checking is a credit union or check out Fidelity.com for their checking account. I think it's called Mycashsmart account or something like it. They offer a lot of perks and no charges or minimums.

most banks have a checking acount for students or childern that has no minumum balance you should make sure you dont have an acount with a minumum balace if you are not going ro keep a lot of money in it becuse the back wll acutuly charge you for not haveing unuff money even into the negitive numbers
have you thought of a saveing acount so you could get intrest on you money I mean why do you need a checking acount for 100 doller and no income? you could get a ATM card for a savings acont and be able to acsess you money that way

When my daughter was in high school during her senior year she could open a checking account...but different banks have different rules. It's best to ask each one.

Washington Mutual and many other banks will take you.

The bank is rising much here - you are giving them money to hold; it's not like a loan, which they won't give you, because in that case they could lose money.
