No good republican supports bad behavior from a member of the republican party. I am glad to see he is going. He is not qualified to hold the republican label.
Your specific 3 questions...
1. I am not defending him, I detest that kind of behavior.
2. He said he pleaded guilty to expedite departure.
3. I am in no position to say why he is resigning for sure but I'll bet it's the flak from the real republicans.

Most Republican legislators have called for his resignation. If the majority of the GOP voters were wanting him to stay then there would be a fierce defense of him in the public.
These yahoo people that are defending him (mostly, with ridiculous arguments that just end up with "Democrats do it too!") are too wrapped up in admitting that sometimes their side messes up. Not all Republicans look at the world as a us against them mentality... Craig did something wrong in the eyes of the law... he plead guilty to a crime... he did not inform anyone in his own party... he should simply resign.

1) He didn't admit that.
2) He plead guilty to arguing with the cop.
3) His party is not supporting him.
Maybe he did it, maybe not, the evidence seems pretty flimsy but I don't know - if there's some universal hand gesture for inviting people for public sex, it's not clear what that was or is and that he made it - but those are the answers to your questions.
The broader implications are geez, if you're traveling and you need to go, (a) are you likely to be propositioned, and (b) if a quarter slips out of your pants pocket and you reach down to pick it up, are you going to get arrested for soliciting gay public sex - is it going to be a Something About Mary moment? Whether or not he is guilty, I think those are legitimate questions.
I'm not defending him or crucifying him - I'm just saying I think seeing a guy's hand underneath the stall wall is a little early to whip out a badge - - why didn't he just say "what do you want?" and see what Craig had to say? And the idea of a cop sitting in the restroom being able to see and hear everyone do their business - - - seems a lot of people who have a problem with the NSA wiretapping US-bound calls from radical imams in Pakistan don't have any problem with this....

Republican pressure drove Senator Craig out, as it should have been. People may rail against the NeoCons. I do too. But more important to the old line conservatives is the image of the party. Long and short of it, they don't like people in their party making them look bad. Years ago there was Senator Bob Packwood who was found to have been accused of sexually assaulting his staff. It wasn't the Democrats who wanted him out as much as the Republicans who pressured him to resign.
Republicans DO police their own.

Craig did do something wrong. Craig is what we Republicans call a RINO (Republican In Name Only). He should resign. I think he should be forced out of the country!

Oh who cares? If they want to deny that he did anything so what. They are only lying to themselves. He is going to deal with the law now. Denying it will not change the reality. Let them be in their own little world. It is a stupid political scandal. You can't expect much from any politicians these days anyway. Not all Conservatives are denying it either but this is for the ones who are.

Where are you getting your information? Conservatives aren't defending him. His stance on immigration is what made me want him out. The problem is, once a Republican in Idaho is elected, there is no getting rid of him. I say good riddance. He can take our other Senator with him too.

I don't know, but as a Democrat (and former Republican before 2000), I wish we would focus on more important issues, and not fall to the level the Republicans did during the whole Lewinsky deal

Who cares? I didn't even know who he was until he tried to get some strange in the men's room. hehehe!
Besides, I'm not disputing anything. If he broke the law by making unwanted sexual advances, then he SHOULD resign so he has more time to spend at the peep-shows.

It amazes me that a FEW people state he committed no crime. If this is true, is the officer guilty of False Arrest? The Nile is more than (you know the rest).
