By connecting two laptops, you mean you just want them both connected to the network wirelessly or you want to be able to browse computer A from computer B wirelessly?
Connecting each laptop into your network wirelessly is simply a matter of having a wireless router, then telling the wireless adapter on the laptop to connect to that network.
If you want to browse remotely, then they both need to have file and print sharing enabled. You should be able to view your entire network and then browse onto the other computer as a network resource.

Giving you detailed instructions here would be redundant. Search the net for setting up an ad-hoc network.
If you don't have a router to connect through, then both laptops would change their wireless settings to allow ad-hoc connections. Follow the instructions for each device for doing that. Don't forget if you have a personal firewall to allow the other computer to come through.
If you do have a router, then both should connect to that and then allow each other through the firewall.
