I have a helpsvc.exe file that takes 100% of my cpu. I've heard it was a bug in windows, so I renamed it so it won't be used again.
but once I do it recreates itself.
I've done a virus scan and no virus was found. I haven't heard of it as a virus from any online sources.
Does anyone have the same problem?????

Check out this link to MS Knowledge Base and apply the Hotfix. You may also want to double check your service pack level. If you are not running SP2 on Windows XP you need it.

This more than likely is not due to this particular dll per say but due to some kind of driver conflict.
You have 2 choices to fix this.

1. Bootup with your rescue or Windows installation disk and do a repair.

2. Bootup with your rescue or Windows installation disk and do a complete format and reinstall of the operating system.
