There is a spider in my back yard that is rather large...
it has a black body with yellow down the sides with yellow dots, and brown legs?
Just wondering what kind of spider this is if anyone knows...

Thanks

Probably the most beautiful spider in the lower 48. The spider is known as a "Golden Orb Weaver". These spiders are harmless however they seem to have a bad reputation due to the size of their webs and body. I will admit they they have the ability to take down a large butterfly if it lands on the web. Try this by throwing a cricket into the web and sit back and enjoy the show. Hope this helps, by next month they will be gone until next fall so don't worry if you despise them.

Further shopping shows their is a 'Wasp Spider' that's determined in Contienial Europe and often the South Coast of England... Which remains to be a thriller as I reside within the Midlands(England - UK) that's miles from the any coast permit simplest the South Coast.... Should I be charging individuals to return and discuss with my Garden to look this infrequent website or is there one other kind of spider out right here?
