They're not "stuck" but are there by choice. Heaven or Hell is what we expect it to be, and if there's a special time we want to relive, we do. Nothing ever ceases.

That's a pretty good question. It's also a difficult one to answer because there's no dependable scientific data to research.

If we're asking if someone who dies while sleeping and dreaming, could they be stuck in a constant dream, you would have to consider that once the heart stops beating and sending blood and oxygen to the brain, the brain would then stop producing said dream.

It is believed in paranormal science that once a person passes, they are "stuck" in-between death and the after-life. Some of these people do not know that they have passed and continue living their life as if they were still alive. It is possible (without proof) that those who have died are stuck in a dream-like state without knowing it. Paranormally speaking, this is how many people and/or locations become "haunted."

Just throwing out ideas and thoughts. This is obviously a question that can't be answered with any proof. Cool to think about it though...nicely done =)

Perhaps we are all already stuck in an everlasting dream world and what we think of as "reality" isnt!?

Maybe when we go to sleep in 'this' world, we are actually wakening up in the "Real" world!?

This is a lovely question. I think thats a nice way to think of it. Maybe death is whatever one believes it to be. Just the way life is. Meaning that we create our own reality.

How would you know? Does a sandgrain have destiny?
Does a star cry?
Fruitless speculation may be fun for some.

This is a religious question. Perhaps you should ask someone who is the same religion as you because I don't know what religion you follow.
