No there is no such boy-girl friend relationship, there is always something beneath, very strange cases when friendship is real, usually one of them is waitting for him or her to realise he/she is the love of his his/her life. Usually one of them has a crush. It is very rare that doens´t happen. they´re just there waitting an oportunity ofr the other to realise...

Sure - BUT
After puberty the single biggest focus of the male mind is "How do I get laid?"
Ever try telling a 3 year old that ice cream isn't good for them?
Doesn't work, because to a 3 year old, an argument is a tool for GETTING what it wants, not DECIDING what it wants.
So for most post adolescent males, friendship with a reasonably attractive female is about figuring out how to get laid.
Women become the puzzle, or mystery. Women become the problem to be solved.
Many young women are painfully naive regards this paradigm shift. Most figure it out eventually.
Hence the phrases "Men only want one thing." OR "Men and women can't be friends."
Now these phrases are overstatements & men often have platonic friendships with women.
But seriously, they aren't much of an overstatement. Part of every young woman's training should be to understand how profoundly a man's sexual desire affects his intentions and behavior.
But don't get that training from someone who thinks testosterone is evil. Like everything else it has evolved to serve a purpose.
Properly trained and directed men are a sword and shield for women. Disrespecting or dissolving male power, leaves you defenseless or on the wrong end of a sword.
Ultimately, in Life's quest to make the next generation, men and women are by necessity friends.
But, any woman ignoring the effect of male sexuality on the friendship dynamic is just being naive.

Yes, a guy can be a good friend to a girl and a girl can be a good friend to a guy.
We are just two people . Everything does not have to be sex.I am guy very happily married with two lovely children but I have girlfriends that we meet for a chat or a drink. Some of them are married also.We talk about our families ,our work and some time guy or girl talk. It may be our up-bringing and respect for the opposite sex. I grew up with my grand mother , my aunt , my mother and four sisters .Narrow mindedness is not helpful in any form of relationship.

Girls hang around with guys simply because girls compete with each other very fiercely. Yet what the girls don't seem to understand is that when they hang around with and try to be one of the guys, some of those guys might be carrying a torch for her.
A girl always splits or ends a good friendship between two or more guys. It never fails to happen. A triangle always develops.

Yes
It may become sexually charged anyway down the road, but they can be great friends.
My best friend ever was a guy, platonic, we teased when drinking sometimes, but both agreed it would end friendship.
He died when we were 22, I still miss him today at 45.
I know they can be friends, just no promise it will stay that way.

It depends.
I am in sixth grade and all the guys are either stupid or immature. None are interested in just a friend. All of them just want a girlfriend that they can brag about making out with to their little friends.
Boys mature much later than girls. I guess I've got to wait a while...

one of my best friends is a guy, and hes datin my other good friend. we hang out all the time and nothin is goin on. so i for sure think there can be a just friend friendship between a guy and a girl or other way around..

Guys can be friends with girls, it just that people take it the wrong way. I hang out with guys, and people just don't understand it because they're too immature.

yes. of course. some of my best friends are guys. they are so much better than girls. less drama, less of the mood swing ness...and they're great litseners and just fun to be around.

Most definitely, as a lot of women would much rather have guy friends then girl friends. !!!!!!!
