(x-2)/2 - (x-1)/5
You need to find the lowest common denominator.
The denominators are 2 and 5. The least common multiple of 2 and 5 is 10.

(x-2)/2 = (x-2)*5/(2*5) = (5x-10)/10

(x-1)/5 = (x-1)*2/(5*2) = (2x-2)/10

Now subtract.
(x-2)/2 - (x-1)/5
= (5x-10)/10 - (2x-2)/10
= (5x-10-2x+2)/10
= (3x-8)/10
