20-August-1974 -- not yet tired, Ryan gets an 11-inning CG defeat against Detroit, 1-0. Opponent Mickey Lolich gets his own 11-inning CG shutout.

08-June-1977 -- Ryan goes ten, but the Angels need 13 to knock off the Blue Jays, 2-1. Bobby Grich goes long leading off the bottom of the 13th to end it.
