Right after the attack we formed Homeland Security, right?
In Germany after the Government staged the Reichstag Fire to unite Germans, they then created a Government unit of planners called "Protect the Homeland", very similar to "Homeland Security"
There are still questions that have people asking if 9/11 was an inside job that have never been answered through any kind of a non Washington/Whitehouse authorized independent investigation.
Then the Germans enacted Martial Law and demanded that all citizens carry their citizenship papers at all times
Much like the U.S. Government is trying to enact Martial Law and create a national ID and microchips.
So - how can you Neocons have the nerve to say that we cannot compare you to Nazi Germany!

You said:
Do you see anyone killing millions on the basis of race or religion.
Um, in 5 years Bush's illegal occupation - Iraq war has killed well over 250,000 Iraqi's
Is a half a million close!? And more every day!
I would say they are well on their way!

Furthermore the Patriot act sunds a lot like Hitlers Enabling act. Then a war started under false pretense. We all know its about oil, and the Bush family is up to his eyeballs in oil profits. All of this done in the name of the American people. Yeah there is plenty of proof to support the theory that if bush didn't cause 9/11 he sure as heck didn't try to stop it.

Yes, it is EXACTLY like that. Cr*p, even Bush's comment about wanting to be a dictator is and people STILL can't see something which is in front of their face!
I would sincerely like to know WHY there was molten steel in the BASEMENT of the twin towers weeks after they fell. I also want to know how there was NO toppling from EITHER of the structures falling between a half hour to an hour from each other. Structures that have been DAMAGED and fall, fall sideways from point of destruction..NOT STRAIT DOWN...Oh, and there HAVE been studies done PRIOR to the towers going up and the steel which they used melted at twice the burning rate of the jet fuel, which debunks the "Popular Mechanics" article.
Another point is WHY are their precise 45 degree cuts made into the steel that you can see in pictures of the rubble of the twin towers? There are a lot of unanswered questions that the 9/11 commission left out...but the most important one is WHY a building no where in the close vicinity of the towers was "Pulled"?

99% of all questions which contain the word "neocon" are posed by the very people who cannot even define what the word means. To them, it is an all-purpose slur to use against anyone who disagrees with them.
It's not surprising you believe the government orchestrated 9/11. I believe a quarter of all Americans believe that. Strangely, it's about the same number as the people who believe Bush is doing a good job as president.
I am not concerned with what the fringe minority thinks, or the labels they hurl. You can believe what you want, and the rational world will ignore you.

ahhhhh I knew people would bash you for posting this.. but here is an article I found that supports your view:
It's easy to look back and realize how awful Hitler was. But at the time, Hitler looked pretty good to the German people, with the help of the media. He was TIME Magazine's Man Of The Year in 1938. George Bush was also TIME magazine's man of the year. The German people assumed they were safe from a tyrant. They lived in a Republic, after all, with strict laws regarding what the government could and more importantly could not do. Their leader was a devoutly religious man, and had even sung with the boy's choir of a monastery in his youth.
When the Reichstag burned down, most Germans simply refused to believe suggestions that the fire had been staged by Hitler himself. They were afraid to. But so trapped were the Germans by their belief in their own bravery that they willed themselves to be blind to the evidence before their eyes, so that they could nod in agreement with Der Fuhrer while still imagining themselves to have courage, even as they avoided the one situation which most required real courage; to stand up to Hitler's lies and deceptions.
When Hitler requested temporary extraordinary powers, powers specifically banned under German law, but powers Hitler claimed he needed to have to deal with the "terrorists", the German people, having already sold their souls to their self-delusions, agreed. The temporary powers were conferred, and once conferred lasted until Germany itself was destroyed.
The American people assume they are safe. They live in a Republic, after all, with strict laws regarding what the government can and more importantly cannot do. Their leader is a devoutly religious man.
When the World Trade Towers collapsed, most Americans simply refused to believe suggestions that the attacks had been staged by parties working for the US Government itself. Americans were afraid to, even as news reports surfaced proving that the US Government had announced plans for the invasion of Afghanistan early in the year, plans into which the attacks on the World Trade Towers which angered the American people into support of the already-planned war fit entirely too conveniently.
Now the US Government has requested temporary extraordinary powers, powers specifically banned under Constitutional law, but powers the government is claiming they need to have to deal with the "terrorists". The American people, having already sold their souls to their self-delusions, are agreeing. The temporary powers recently conferred will be no more temporary in America than they were in Germany.
Tyrants become obvious only when looking back, after what they have done becomes known. The German people did not stand up to Hitler because their media betrayed them, just as the American media is betraying the American people by willingly, voluntarily, even proudly, abandoning its traditional role as watchdog against government abuse.
It is the very nature of power that it attracts the sort of people who should not have it. The United States, as the world's last superpower, is a prize that attracts men and women willing to do absolutely anything to win that power, and hence are also willing to do absolutely anything with that power once they have it. If one thinks about it long enough, one will realize that all tyrants, past and most especially present, MUST use deception on their population to initiate a war.

You wouldn't need a terrorist attack in order to form a part of a government. We didn't declare martial law and few people have seen their citizenship papers. And the Nazis killed millions of innocent people because of race and religion. Do you see anyone killing millions on the basis of race or religion. I don't. And we are actually trying to save innocent people. Why do you think we are still in iraq.

Aside from factual errors in timeline, history and reason - your conceit fails most when your omit the true aggression of Radical Islam against the West.
There is a legitimate issue of War Profiteering going on right now and for the last few years. It certainly has affected our tenure in Iraq.
But you don't know much about pre-WWII Germany, and you certainly aren't an educated guy by the way you think.
You should be mad at your enemies, and not angry because somebody took a vacant mind and placed a few kernal ideas in there.

It's called "innocent until proved guilty".
That's why.
No, it is not their version. It will not be until you prove that. Until then you are treating our government as "guilty until proved innocent", a contemptible act that is condemned even by the U.N., let alone any other civilized country in the world.
Yet you seem to support it, when applied to your own government.
That's contemptible.
Asking questions is NOT unpatriotic.
Comparing the two without proof is.
