Well would a creepy phone call count? Cause if so, There was this one time I printed a ouija board of a website, had it laminated, then I cut a planchette out of card board and there you go, a home made ouija board. Well I know you're not supposed to use it alone...but I wanted to use it so badly and no one else was home(except for my little brother, but I didn't want to get him involved in it) So I went into a quiet room all by myself and I tried to contact a spirit. I did...I didn't get to ask it many questions because it said good bye soon after I asked how it died. later that night like two minutes after midnight, my dad's cellphone rang. No one got to the phone and the answering machine picked up. Then all I heard was a series of growls and someone...or something trying to say something but I didn't understand any of it...except for the words "ow" and "heeeelllppp" and just a lot of growling and moaning, in a deep demon like voice. I thought that it could just be a prank call...but from who? My dad had just gotten that new cellphone that morning...and nobody had the number...I didn't even have the number. My dad heard the message too and he freaked out! he said he didn't give anyone the number, no one at all. And it wasn't in any phone book or anything like that....so if it was a prank call...who was it from??

Not really awesome but this story is a personal one.
My first year of university and I lived in a dorm. One sophomore girl had a board and decided to frighten us freshmen on one rainy dark evening.
Nothing moved and we all said this is a waste of time, lets go back to our rooms. Then one girl came home passed by the bottom of the stairs where we all sat, and said \"what are you guys doing?" She was another freshman.
To make the story short, she sat with us and the minute she touched that board, something different happened. It moved and moved so fast . We all accused each other of pushing so we barely touched the darn thing. Anyway we all got scared so we said enough thats all , its getting late. So the original girl said, yes we have to say thanks and goodbye to the "spirit". She verbally said this and immediately our entire surroundings smelled of freshly extinguished candles.
You never saw a group of girls run so fast.

If you want to learn about the subject without having to sort through a lot of anonymous answers by strangers, about whom you know nothing, including whether they know anything, there's a way to learn.

The reading list below can act as a source for you. Most of the titles can be found in your local library. If they don't have them they can borrow them from another library.
