You do an audition just like you would live but tape it. now, choosing the right maaterial for yourself is very important , in the pro world you have to be the right age and type for the role, If you click on my name and read my profile and wrtie to me at my aol address, I will help you find the right material. I will need to know your physical desciption.

You can do a scene from the movie but be careful about choosing the character. I would also add 2-3 more scenes from other pieces in the same genre. Taking into consideration that the attention span of a director or casting agent is usually between 15 seconds and 1 minute, talking about yourself should be limited. Depending on what you're sending them, an audio CD or DVD, most personal information should be on the cover and that cover should be professionally done. A cover letter should include other credits you may have and any other information the casting office, director or agent would like you to send along with your demo.
