So Day 1 of your cycle was July 3rd
Next Day 1 was July 31 (so that's a 28 day cycle)
now the next Day 1 should have been about Aug 28th and you are late, right?
Due to the months having a different number of days, your period will not come on the same day every month. But if you count them out, they should be close to the pattern you have - 28 days.
When you first start out, it's normal to be regular than irregular and it's normal to skip a month also.

Since you have just begun having periods, it could take a year or more before your periods become regulated on a 28-day or 35-day cycle.
From here on out, focus on symptoms you may have, cramps, headache, fatigue, slight lower back pain (you may have all, some, or none at all). Begin to carry protection with you in your purse or backpack, and wear protection also in the event of an accident.
The link below is an online calendar to help you keep up with your periods, it will even send you an email reminding you when your next one is due. But, remember, you may not be regular for quite a while yet.

My period has never been regular. I'll get it for 3 days, then 3 weeks off; then 5 days and so on. So you cant always count on it coming regularly; especially when you first start.

Your periods will be irregular for at least 2 years after you first get them. this is completely normal. Your body is just trying to adjust to the new horomones.
