When there is the possibility of more than one answer.
pick the best answer.
1 = e
3 = a

I recently passed the amateur extra exam
49/50
about 1/3 of the questions are like that.
But you then must keep in mind the priorities of the exam and the order that they fall into.
1: safety
2: Law
3: procedure
4: courtesy
5: knowledge
Who is giving the test why are they giving it What are their priorities?
What the instructor in your class was most interested in will tell you what the correct answer is likely to be. This is one of the reasons that the more attention that you pay to your instructor, the more information you are likely to pick up on.
If you do not miss much you will love to be tested. A test day can be a good day. Learn to look forward to the day that you are lucky enough to have someone take the time to test you. They are giving you the opportunity to shine.

Sulfuric acid in battery acid has the lowest pH in question 4. The lemon juice with citric acid is the next acidic. Citric acid doesn't completely dissociate in water like H2SO4. Disregard the other answer. If sulfuric acid were in lemons, it would suck the carbon out of the sugar by dehydrating the sugars and be completely inedible, and you would have more than a sour taste in your mouth. Drain cleaner is a strong base and will a high pH (called basic, opposite of acidic).
