This is the type of nonsense I find here. A bunch of childish insults hurled at the opposing side because the insulting side could not think of anything productive to say.

Why even bother to ask questions here in politics?

Some claim that it is fun and entertaining. At the same time they claim that they are not hateful. You can find some good questions here at times.

In my short stay here, I have noticed many apprenticed comments and infantile questions and answers. Extremest on both sides are guilty of contributing in these childish behaviors. I myself, have witnessed ridiculous accusations and falsified judgments being stated and quoted as facts . It appears that there is a lot of close minded individuals flooding this site. The site main purpose is to educate ourselves and/or help educate others. If we let ourselves be blinded by ignorance, we will never progress in society. Exchanging insults is not the ultimate ideal of debating.

To share knowledge or have some intelligent fun or both if you get lucky.
We can all influence the level of debate by our own input,by using the thumb option to thumb up great content and make clear we aren't too happy about other Q&A,by reporting abuse if we see it and by giving a star to a question we like very much.
Most important we can try to make our own post informaitve and of high quality.
Pointing fingers is easy.We have to be the cnaces we want to see in this world and on this board

If my mommy makes twice as much as your mommy, and my mommy's income goes up by $40K in five years while your mommy's goes up by $8K, your mommy is still better off, even though Paul Krugman would argue that she "lost ground."
