yeahh i know the demon drop is still running i was there last month and i heard people talking in line about how they didnt know when cedar point was getting rid of it and stuff like that so i was just wondering and as for the maverick that ride is seriously amazing and its a hard decision to decide which is better TTD or maverick the maverick is really cool with all its twists and turns and stuff and it goes pretty fast but not as fast at the TTD of course and the Maverick has the steepest drop in the park steeper than TTD's lol

And you can sign up for their newsletter that each month will tell you the latest news, but I see nothing in it about these rides-or new ones to be higher. I come from teh Cle. area and I know they were talking about that last year, but we did not go this year.

I live close to Cedar Point and went there over the summer. I believe that CP is building another roller coaster. If it will be bigger than TTD, this is unknown. Maverick was opened this summer and it is not taller/faster than TTD. Maybe they will try for some other unthinkable feat. About the Demon Drop, I believe that they will eventually get rid of it, unfortunately. About the other rides, I'm not sure. But, still even if they do, it will probably be the best park on the planet.

Most likely, yes, they are planning on building another coaster. Will it be bigger than TTD?? Unknown at this time. Their new coaster, Maverick, is nowhere near the record breaker that TTD is.
Demon Drop has been up for sale for some time. Not sure if they are still operating it, although I would think they would as long as it's still standing.
Getting rid of any rides? Not sure.
