Hemorrhoids can often be effectively dealt with by dietary and lifestyle changes. Softening the feces and avoiding constipation by adding fiber to one's diet is important, because hard feces lead to straining during defecation. Fruit, leafy vegetables, and whole-grain breads and cereals are good sources of fiber, as are bulk laxatives and fiber supplements such as Metamucil or Citrucel. Exercising, losing excess weight, and drinking six to eight glasses a day of water or another liquid (not alcohol) also helps.

Soap or toilet paper that is perfumed may irritate the anal area and should be avoided, as should excessive cleaning, rubbing, or wiping of that area. Reading in the bathroom is also considered a bad idea, because it adds to the time one spends on the toilet and may increase the strain placed on the anal and rectal veins. After each bowel movement, wiping with a moistened tissue or pad sold for that purpose helps lessen irritation. Hemorrhoid pain is often eased by sitting in a tub of warm water for about 10 or 15 minutes two to four times a day (sitz bath). A cool compress or ice pack to reduce swelling is also recommended (the ice pack should be wrapped in a cloth or towel to prevent direct contact with the skin). Many people find that over-the-counter hemorrhoid creams and foams bring relief, but these medications do not make hemorrhoids disappear.

I know exactly how you feel. Hemorrhoids can be very uncomfortable, even the least little one.

Ask your OB/GYN to prescribe you some Anusol HC suppositories. Ask him/her also what kind of bowel regimen you can get on to keep your stools soft so that when you do go to the bathroom you won't have to strain. It is dangerous to take laxatives while pregnant, but maybe your doctor will allow a mild stool softener so that you can be more comfortable.

Good luck.

Constipation is an excessively traditional grievance for the duration of being pregnant - I had it some thing fierce, and it sucks. I did not use something, nevertheless it did ease up somewhat, obtained simpler and not more painful whilst I made definite I was once consuming LOTS of water. Your blood quantity raises by way of as much as 60% for the duration of being pregnant, and that steals plenty of water out of your frame. Also take a look at taking fish oil tablets and consuming extra insoluble fibre. If your bowel pursuits are extra widespread and softer, finally this may aid.

All of the above answers are absolutely correct. FYI.... if the hemorroid is external and not internal, you need to take a look at it. If it becomes purple, "thrombose", seek medical aid ASAP. If it turns purple and you do nothing about it, there is a possibility that it will errupt and it is possible to bleed to death. I am not trying to scare you with this info, it is just that many people do not realize the severity of hemorrhoids.

The other answers here are the good ones but if you need help right this moment --wash your hands and CAREFULLY push the hemorrhoid back into your rectum -squeeze your buttocks together and lie down with your feet elevated.
You may have to use two fingers- this is only to get you through the moment ---see the doctor soon.

Hemorrhoids are associated with constipation and straining at bowel movements. How to get rid of hemorrhoids https://tr.im/Ka9a7
Pregnancy is also associated with hemorrhoids. These conditions lead to increased pressure within the hemorrhoidal veins that causes them to swell. Other conditions, for example chronic liver disease, may also cause increased venous pressure and may be associated with hemorrhoids. Hemorrhoids are very common and are estimated to occur in up to one-half of the population by age 50.

You need to up the fiber in your diet. Hemroids are very common and can be so painful. I suggest asking your OB what you can do to ease it. That is what she is there for. She knows best what is right for you.

This is pretty common among pregnant women (they never mention it). I'd talk to your OB and see what s/he says...
I feel your pain sister (not at this exact moment, but I have felt it before)..
Good luck,
