Long story short. I've been out for 12 weeks with tendonitis in my knee, been doing some biking and swimming to stay in shape. (used to be a runner) Today I got a cortisone shot . Is it safe to go biking/swimming today?

you need to let the medication work before you start exercising. It takes at least three days for the cortisone to breakup the inflammation. Rest and start exercising afterwards.
