On average a home pregnancy test will detect the pregnancy at 12 dpo, most are accurate at 14 dpo. Don't be disheartened, you tested way to early. 2 dpo, you are so silly, thank you for the gentle giggle, I needed it. Try testing again in 10-12 more days- long time to wait, I know. I wish the best for you :)

If you ovulated 2 days ago and conceived, implantation would not be occuring until early next week (6-10 days past ovulation). I used very sensitive pregnancy tests and with my daughter I got a positive at 7 days past ovulation, and this pregnancy not until 10 days past ovulation.
Also, sex today would not lead to a pregnancy, because the egg is only good for 24 hours. You should start trying 5 days before ovulation until the day after.

Don't stress out. Taking a test won't hurt (or help), since you haven't had the chance for implantation yet. Also, since the test is looking for pregnancy hormones, those don't come until even after that. I would recommend WebMD's ovulation calendar, as it will show your fertile days, implantation day, and earliest positive test dates.
You can still get pregnant during this cycle, but will probably have better chances if you keep your stress levels down. :) Good luck & stock up on a few extra home tests.

It is way too early. Don't call yourself stupid your just excited. Test in in 3-4 weeks or wait till your period is due. It takes a while for your body to change enough to register on a test. good luck and stay positive

Don't stress! It is much too early for the test to give you accurate results. Wait 14 days, after the day you ovulated, and test again. Good luck!

You tested too early, even if you are pregnant, it would've said negative, b/c the hormone isn't evident in your system yet.
Stop beating yourself up, and try to focus on anything else until you miss your period. By that time, even the day it's due, the early response tests should be able to pick it up.
Good luck!

Don't feel stupid, we all get the baby fever so bad sometimes and can't help ourselves.
You already know, it's too soon to test. Wait 2 weeks past ovulation for the most accurate results.
Good luck and ~~~ Baby Dust ~~~

No, there's no way an at-home test can detect pregnancy this early. Your best bet is to wait until your next period is expected and retest.
