Are you thinking that having used the tampon that your vaginal opening will be bigger?
No it won't make any difference. When I fist started I had to dip my tampons into Vaseline so that they went in easier.

No, it won't effect your period. And I have to agree with sweet bottom that you shouldn't use vaseline on your tampon, it's not supposed to go inside of your body and you don't want to end up with an infection down there. As far as the TSS, I've used tampons for about 15 years or so and never had that problem, but some women have problems with it. You just have to try it.

Don't use a tampon without your period, ever (unless, I suppose, you had some surgery and docs said to). That's one of the primary ways you can get Toxic Shock Syndrome.
And no, it won't affect your first period.

hopefully not.
but why were you using a tampon if you didn't have your period?? just to try it out?
if you can, ask your mom. chances are you're fine, but you still might want to find out from a gyno or something.
oh and btw don't use vaseline like the person above me said, that's actually not safe.
best of luck

It won't affect your period. however, you should NEVER use tampons when you don't have your period, because it increases you chance of getting toxic shock syndrome.
