I have always found Tide to be a good all around~you can do well with it even though it is in the higher price bracket, you save because you don't use so much as the cheaper ones, it does clean better and often goes on sale and also coupons help
I don't use detergent with bleach you lose $$ that way, better to add bleach, colorox is best

I like Surf and Gain. I see a lot of people like Tide.Tide irritates a lot of people I knows skin. You should really just go to the laundry isle and pick your favorite smell. Everyone has a different preference. All(brand) doesn't clean very well. I would avoid that one and the offish brands. God bless!!

A liquid will clean better than a powder, ,sent is an additive,
what ever you like, has nothing to do with cleaning , add your own bleach, additives take away from the soap amount in the cleaner,

I'm quite fond of Gain fresh scent. But I am all about vanilla fabric softener
