I'll be leaving with 5 other guys at 4 a.m. tomorrow morning. We are going to hike the trails around the mountain for a week (and get acclimated to the altitude), try to catch some trout, and then summit the peak (14,505 feet, the tallest mountain in the contiguous U.S.) in the last two days.
The biggest threats will be altitude sickness, and veracious marmots.

Good luck!!!!!! There is nothing like getting to the top of a mountain. I've climbed my share in the states, and also here on Crete, but can't seem to find the time to do now. I envy you! Have fun and return safe and sound to us!
