The media overplays anything remotely sensational.
I feel bad for the wife as well, but have little to no sympathy for him.
You know, I take that back. If this society wasn't so hell bent on being homophobic, he wouldn't have to be trolling for gay sex in airport bathrooms. I DO feel bad for him.

The media overdoes and overplays any sensationalistic item they find out about, and many people are entranced by this type of thing.
I cannot give a true opinion on what has happened concerning the Senator, as it is all hearsay and conjecture at this point.
I do find it difficult to believe, with the "stalking" actions of a lot of media employees, that the Senator could have hidden this type of behavior up until now.
Being a straight woman, I would have no idea what would be considered signs or signals for asking for sex in a public restroom. (cannot believe I just typed that...yuck) I can only hope that I do not ever reach for toilet paper or a paper towel or wash my hands and my actions get mistaken for something else...it is frightening if you think about it in that manner.
I can remember being in a restaurant several years ago and one of my female friends and I left the table we were sitting at and went to use the ladies room.
We were standing to one side of the hallway going into the restroom area and one of our male friends came up to us and told us to move away from that area, as we were standing on the side closer to the mens room and that was a signal that we were looking for an "encounter.." that is the most ladylike manner I can state it on here.
I had never heard of that either, and I am considered to be well-read, as well as well-educated. I guess I have never been interested in learning what I would consider to be a-typical sexual mores.
Have we, as a society become oversensitized to every action and nuance that many actions that are totally innocent could be considered otherwise?
It will be interesting to see what becomes of this incident with the Senator, and if he does decide to resign or not.
Have a nice, and incident free, day.

one in all Craig's defenses approximately his foot being interior the adjoining stall became that he "has an excellent stance." somebody stated that it extremely is confusing to have an excellent stance whilst your pants are dropped around your ankles whilst seated on a rest room. And, further extra, if his pants weren't dropped around his ankles, only what became he doing sitting on the rest room? I wasn't conscious that there became this complicated invitation equipment that gays have - the foot tapping as an occasion. yet, it extremely is sensible. If something comes up or you're challenged you are able to continually say you had no thought what they have been speaking approximately, which you probably did no longer comprehend what you have been doing, or you probably did no longer understand what that meant. i'm a Conservative who continually votes Republican and that i hate the undeniable fact that yet another intercourse scandal has hit the suited suited factor of the aisle. I wish it hadn't exceeded off in spite of the undeniable fact that it did. Now,we've this guy who's clearly accountable - he even pleaded accountable (to a lesser can charge yet that became basically to make the unique can charge bypass away). Craig desires to surrender his seat interior the senate for what he did is shabby, undignified, under his place of work and degrading to his place of work. His strikes, only as bill Clinton's strikes and others, basically serves to cut back the little admire electorate have already got for their elected officers.

At some level I feel sorry for him,but mostly I have to say it's his own fault. I do however feel the media is focusing way too much attention on it,but that's because of his Party affiliation. If he was a Democrat this wouldn't get nearly as much air time.

I would be worried about this whole situation if I was single. he wasnt caught in any act. all he was doing was picking up a consenting adult (which the left always plays with the homosexual topic) As far as I know there is no crime in flirting. If he would have attempted to engage in a public place that would be a crime. and no Im not exonerating him but legally this is not the story they are making it to be.

I want someone to explain to me why he didn't call a lawyer. And if he was truly innocent why didn't he trust the United States judicial system. Given these 2 facts he got what he asked for. Why feel sorry for his wife. Apparently in his family values his wife was not a consideration.

If Hillary wasn't needing to nap and get ready to accept money from foreign campaign contributions, I'd like to hear what she has to say.
The media needs to pipe up about this.
