you're looking at possibly tearing out that wall.... be prepared.... a beekeeper probably won't take the hive, as it's in a wall and would be hard to get the queen... (where she goes, the hive will follow)... so you'll likely have to get a pest service to kill the hive's occupants.... and THEN you'll have to tear out the wall to remove the wax hive and honey or it will decay and stink to heaven!.... and if you're foolish enuff to seal up the bees inside the wall, same deal..... now, if you can remove some siding or shingles or whatever to get to the hive, a beekeeper may take it for you.....

bees are in short supply in a lot of places, so we're trying hard to keep them alive anywhere we find them... but if it's too hard or too dangerous to you, then killing them is understood..... sad, tho...........

get all of them together on this... the beekeeper, the pest management and a wall contractor before you do anything!!...

You don't want to kill the bees in your garage wall, because they give off a scent that tells other bees to be on the attack.

You don't want to kill off the entire hive. That's a felony.

Smoke will make the bees docile. Have you considered burning down the garage?

It's possible that the bees swarmed, and the new queen has taken up residence in your garage wall. Contact a local beekeeper; he'll be glad to provide better accomodations for your queen.
