You sound very pregnant. Your hcg level should double every 2 days--which yours doubled and a little more. Congratulations!

You did start out with an initial low beta (average at 14 days past ER is 117), which can be indicative of a problem with a pregnancy, even if the numbers double. That said, your doubling time is great and I would say 5% if a very conservative estimate of your chance of success. From what I've seen on the IVF forums I go to, it is probably more like 50% or even higher that this will be a viable pregnancy. I will say a prayer that it is just a late bloomer! Good luck.

Why would a nurse tell you that? You hcg levels should double every 48-72 hours. Yours have more than doubled! You can't always rely on hcg levels to determine a viable pregnancy anyway. I've known women who had very questionable levels and went on to deliver perfectly healthy babies. You sound perfectly fine! Good luck and God bless.

i think the numbers are very high and healthy, not sure why it would be 5%, what the doctor say? since it varies from person to person, maybe they think in your specific case is 5%, but hopefully it'll work out, you can also get the opinion of another RE, you can ask one online for free and see what they think about your HSG changes, try www.FertilityTies.com
good luck!
