The Laws in the USA are very strict and I would think it would be very doubtful as you have to answer the form in all honesty, and it is checked. I have been going to the US for thirty years and it certainly has got more stringent. All you can do is try, and only hope.

There is no easy answer here as you would have to declare your conviction on your non immigrant (tourist) visa application. You would also need info from the police relating to your conviction.

You would most likely be required to attend an interview at the US Embassy in London or your US Consulate General Office if you live in an other part of the UK than England.

It is then up to the Embassy/Consulate people to decide on your individual case.

Good Luck Cause it is daunting as I went through it a while ago, but did get a visa at the end of it all.
