Well, your not too proud to ask for help here Tulip! (pretty name!)
I'm the same, I suffer through major, life changing decisions and never ask ANYONE to help! It's as if we have created a twin of ourselves which masks our imperfection, to the world.
I don't want to ask for help because I don't want the world to see that I can't do it.
I'm kindof getting past this now, because I decided to choose ONE person who I could ask for advice from, and trust. So he's the ONLY one who sees that sometimes I need help, while the rest of the world is oblivious to it!!
I don't know if this is like a "cure" or more of a "quick fix", but being capable of confiding in ONE person will make a massive difference, and not as much pressure. Please try it

theres absolutely nothing wrong with asking for help as long as its not like everyday). However, you need to be good at something, so that they in turn could sometime ask you for help.

Then again, asking people for help makes them feel good and needed. Remember the saying: 'the worst tragedy in this world, is not being needed by anyone'

I am like that, too, I don't want anyone to think I am weak because I admit that I need help with something. It is a form of self-protecting, protecting your ego, to look strong, but we all need help sometimes. It is okay to feel that way, but when you get overwhelmed, you need to ask for help, and know that it is okay, you won't be looked upon as weak.

There is no creature as 'normal,' there are only 'averages.'

Maybe what one could call your 'stubbornness' is what you mistakenly call your 'proudness'!

Proudness can be confused with Arrogance also ~ as in 'too arrogant to admit you need some help'...! ...or maybe too proud to acknowledge it.!

It is normal........there may be many reasons for that....but you have to make the first step and ask for help.....you may find it difficult but after that you won't have any problems at all...

Its called fear, sometimes you can't take a 'NO' and you may be too afraid to risk it, then naming it pride makes you feel better for doing it that way.
